Hello!
My name is Shelby Hernandez I graduated from Benedictine University with a major in Special Education. I've lived in South Elgin, IL since I was 5 years old and currently reside in Lisle, IL. This is my first year as a certified teacher, and I have such excitement for the coming year! I have a passion for teaching special education and making an impact on the lives of my students. My goal is for all students to reach their full learning potential with the proper guidance and resources. I like to stay connected with my students' families; therefore, you will be hearing from me once a week. With that being said I invite all family member to send me any suggestions that will make me a better teacher.
